New Vice President, Marketing for XM Canada

Canadian Satellite Radio Holdings, operator of XM Canada, announced the appointment of Janet Gillespie as the company's new vice president of marketing.
"We are delighted to have someone with Janet's background and experience join XM Canada at a time when the company is poised to make a significant mark in the Canadian satellite radio industry," Michael Moskowitz, president
and chief executive officer of XM Canada, said in a release. "Janet will play an integral role in strengthening our marketing and will be a valuable member of our executive team."
Gillespie has more than 20 years of experience in marketing and sales from a variety of leading technology and communications firms, the company describes, including the past eight years at Palm Canada Inc. She began her career at Palm as director of marketing where she led the marketing efforts for Palm handheld computers and smartphones, including the successful positioning and launch of the Treo smartphone product family. Most recently, Gillespie was responsible for wireless carrier business development where she held overall sales and account management responsibility for Treo smartphones to Canada's leading wireless carriers, including Bell Mobility, Rogers Wireless and Telus Mobility.
XM Canada also announced that Donald McKenzie will depart his position as XM Canada's senior vice president of sales & marketing on
January 11, 2008.
