HBO Programming Hits Bell Mobility

Full episodes of HBO series are now availaable to Bell Mobility subscribers, along with ringtones, wallpapers and, soon, mobile games.
Bell announced an exclusive mobile partnership with Home Box Office, Inc. to deliver premium HBO programming to mobile phones.
Program episodes will be made available in tandem with home video release. Launching in English, Bell Mobility's HBO service will also be available in dubbed French beginning in May. It will be available on a wide range of phones, the companies decribe.
"We are very excited to be teaming up with Bell Mobility to deliver a truly compelling package of on-demand programming to mobile audiences in Canada," said Stanley Fertig, Senior Vice President, HBO International. "This agreement exemplifies our goal to grow our profile in the international marketplace through digital platforms."
Bell Mobility's HBO service includes access to programming such as Entourage, Flight of the Conchords, Curb Your Enthusiasm, Tell Me You Love Me, Sex and the City and The Sopranos, as well as promotional previews, trailers, bonus footage and stand-up comedy.
"HBO has built its international brand by producing provocative, compelling and critically acclaimed programming, which fits precisely with Bell's commitment to bring its clients the best mobile content available," said Adel Bazerghi, Vice President, Products for Bell Mobility.
Bell's current video offering on mobile phones includes access to live programming such as news, weather, sports, entertainment and children's content, as well as full-length feature films on a mobile phone.
HBO Home Box Office, Inc. is a subsidiary of Time Warner Inc. HBO programming is sold into over 150 countries worldwide.
