High Fidelity HDTV Channels Launch on Rogers

High Fidelity HDTV will launch its new HD Nature & Adventure Package on Rogers Digital Cable in Ontario.

The four new channels ­ Oasis HD, Treasure HD, Equator HD and Rush HD ­ are now available in free preview to Rogers Digital Cable customers with a High Definition set-top-box. High Fidelity HDTV now reaches close to 1.5 million households.

"We're very excited to be part of the Rogers HD line-up," Ken Murphy, co-founder of High Fidelity HDTV Inc., said in a release. "We believe our suite of HD channels offers some of the best entertainment value anywhere. Rogers subscribers will be introduced to new, unique programming unlike any other HD programming available in Canada."

Oasis HD is for the nature lover who wants to experience the natural world, commercial free, in the comfort of their family room.
 
Treasure HD is for lovers of art in all its forms. Millions of Canadians have a passion for the rare, the lost, the exotic and the beautiful.
 
Equator HD offers documentary programming from around the world for viewers who are intensely curious about how others live around the block and around
the world.
 
Rush HD is spectacular adventure for adrenaline junkies and wanna-bees everywhere.
 
Original HD programming from well-known companies such as IMAX Original films and Smithsonian Channel HD means Canadians now can enjoy hundreds and
hundreds of fresh new HD titles that are brand-new to Canadian audiences with many more titles added each month, station programmers describe.

As part of the HD Nature & Adventure Pak, Oasis HD, Equator HD, Treasure HD and Rush HD will be available for a three month free preview to Rogers HD
subscribers starting December 9.
