Super Channel, Canada’s national premium television service, is now available in Alberta and British Columbia on Telus TV.

“We are very pleased that Telus is now offering Super Channel to their customers in western Canada,” said Malcolm Knox, Super Channel President and COO. “Whether viewers are looking for great exclusive series and movie premieres, insightful documentaries, recorded live concerts, anime, or live championship boxing, they are certain to find something of interest on our six channels – two in vibrant HD.”

Telus customers will have access to a variety of programming and will find the Holiday season particularly enticing with such titles as Alvin and the Chipmunks, Juno, The Bank Job, Persepolis, and Dead Like Me (both the movie and the series) to name only a few.

Super Channel in standard definition will air on channels 230 through 233, and in high definition on 635 and 636.

Super Channel is Canada’s national pay television network, consisting of two new HD channels, four new SD channels, and Super Channel On Demand.

Super Channel’s vision is to expand the Canadian premium TV experience by offering a broad range of fresh, entertaining movies, series and live events. Super Channel is owned by Allarco Entertainment, an Edmonton-based media company.
