Companies that capture or create value in wireline and wireless broadband networks are being specifically targetted.
Venture-style Investment support mechanisms for start up and seed projects from the enterprise includes money, leverage, experience and other strategic contributions to accelerated development and market growth. The mandate also includes support for the innovation ecosystem by providing direct funding to community programs that help create innovation momentum in this country.

Rogers Ventures is run by Melinda Rogers is the Senior Vice President of Strategy and Development for Rogers Communications; Michael Lee is vice-president, New Ventures for Rogers Communications Inc. Mike is responsible for new ventures assessment, investment and development for the Rogers Communications’ group of companies; and Nyla Ahmad, Vice-President, Venture Operations & Strategic Partners, whose responsibilities include the development and day-to-day operations of the Rogers Ventures’ start-up portfolio
Real estate search venture Zoocasa, news discovery service Thoora, and grid computing solutions provider GridCentric are currently in the venture portfolio.
