Sound Ideas, the Toronto-based pro sound effects publisher, has unveiled its new website, with mobile audio demos and video previews and the new features.
Sound Ideas’ “new look” website has a streamlined look and optional navigation through drop down or static menu pages.
The new site's audio demos are mobile friendly and there's extensive use of YouTube video demos as well.
The new site also emphasizes links to the download division of Sound Ideas at the StockMusic.com site, where many of the single music and production element CDs are available to audition, purchase and download.
Hyper-links take users directly to StockMusic.com and provide access to 25 free sound effects as well as 10 full length music tracks and 15 useful production elements.
"It is important for us to provide choices to our customers,” said Brian Nimens, Sounds Ideas’ founder, president and CEO. “Many of our products are already offered for download through stockmusic.com as well as being available as physical products that ship on hard drive, DVD or CD. Our goal is to increase the number of Sound Ideas CDs and products that are available for immediate download - that will be our focus over the next several months."
Founded in 1978, Sound Ideas publishes more than 1,000 CDs and more than 150,000 sound effects, using new technology to offer audio assets to professional sound designers and producers in the broadcast, post-production and digital media industries.
StockMusic.com is a division of Sound Ideas.
