Canadian pop music stars Justin Bieber and Carly Rae Jepsen dominated the American Music Awards last night, and they will bring their award winning talents to the 2012 Grey Cup half-time show.

During Sunday night’s AMA show, Jepsen won favourite new artist, while Bieber took home three trophies, including artist of the year.

The Toronto Argonauts and the Calgary Stampeders will battle for the CFL Championship and the 100th Grey Cup, taking place on Sunday, November 25 at Rogers Centre in Toronto; the half-time show will feature performances by Bieber, Jepsen, and other leading Canadian performers.

The 2012 Grey Cup half-time show will be produced by Patrick Roberge Productions (PRP), one of this country’s leading event and sports-entertainment producers, who is again working with the Canadian Football League on its marquee event.

The event will be telecast live on TSN and RDS in Canada, and NBC Sports Network in the United States and available to SiriusXM subscribers on Sirius channel 157 and XM channel 160.

"We love bringing entertainment to the world of sport," said PRP President and Creative Director, Patrick Roberge. "For the 100th Grey Cup celebration, we've created a half-time experience that will honour this important Canadian sports milestone, and will be exciting for both the live audience and those viewing at home. Events like the Grey Cup and the Olympics are a balance of protocol, history, sport drama and intense celebration. PRP's goal is to deliver on all levels."

Recent sport event productions for PRP include the opening and closing ceremonies for the 2012 Arctic Winter Games, the 2011 Canada Games and the 2010 Paralympic Winter Games. PRP also recently produced Rick Hansen's 25th Anniversary Television special in collaboration with CTV.

Founded by Patrick Roberge, award-winning PRP operates four divisions, Creative Sport Entertainment, Creative Events, Corporate Productions, and Creative Entertainment.

PRP's recent sport event productions include the opening and closing ceremonies for the 2012 Arctic Winter Games, the 2011 Canada Games, the 2010 Paralympic Winter Games and Rick Hansen's 25th Anniversary television special.
