Colba.net IPTV Reaches to B.C.

Colba.Net is extending its IPTV service in British Columbia.

The Canadian Radio-television and Telecommunications Commission (CRTC) approved Colba.Net Telecom’s application for a broadcasting regional license for a number of areas in British Columbia, and the company says its now offering services in Burnaby, Chilliwack, Coquitlam, Courtenay/Comox/Powell River, Duncan, Kamloops, Kelowna, Langford, Nanaimo, New Westminster, Penticton, Prince George, Vancouver, Victoria, White Rock and surrounding areas.

Colba.net’s licence to operate a Class 1 terrestrial broadcasting distribution undertaking also extended its reach to three other western provinces, Alberta, Saskatechewan and Manitoba.

Colba.Net first offered IPTVs in Montreal in December 2011, carrying Canadian high-definition channels and some popular US channels, as well as providing accessto online content from streaming websites like Netflix, AppleTV and TOUT.TV.
