Nominees for the 2012 JUNO Awards will be announced bext week, and Bell Media says it will provide exclusive live coverage across its multiple media platforms.
The Juno Awards nominee press conference will be held at the Design Exchange in Toronto, ON
Live TV coverage of the event will air on CP24 and CTV News Channel, and exclusive coverage will be fed to portable media devices like smartphones, superphones and tablets with Bell Mobile TV, subject to breaking news coverage.
The press conference will also be available in its entirety on CTV.ca.
The Canadian Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences (CARAS) will announce this year's nominations and, jointly with CTV, reveal additional artists to perform during CTV's live broadcast of the actual award presentations.
Already announced to perform on The 2012 JUNO Awards broadcast are 2012 Canadian Music Hall of Fame inductees Blue Rodeo and JUNO Award-winning artists City and Colour, deadmau5 and Feist.
The 2012 JUNO Awards airs live on Sunday, April 1, 2012 from Scotiabank Place in Ottawa, and will also be on CTV and CTV Mobile platforms.
Last year, the Awards telecast was expanded for the first time to two and a half hours, partly to celebrate their 40th Anniversary.
