Canada's best digital media and interactive content creators were honoured last night, and presented with a 2012 Digi Award.
The Digis, revealed last night at the prestigious Carlu, located in the heart of Toronto, are an annual showcase that recognize the who’s who of Canada’s digital elite and features some of the brightest stars and biggest changemakers in media landscape today.
The Digi Awards were hosted by Harley Morenstein, the YouTube celebrity best known for his outrageous online cooking show ‘Epic Meal Time’, along with award-winning TV host and producer Anne-Marie Withenshaw. Andrew Bravener and Andrew Gunadie (aka gunnarolla) provided comic relief that was very well received from those in attendance and those tuning in online to nextMEDIA’s official live stream of the event.
This year, The Digis had over 20 categories which featured a diverse roster including Most Innovative Digital Media Technologies, Best in Branded Entertainment, Best Use of Social Media and others, making the event the top destination for Canada’s leaders in advertising, media and technology.
