Mississauga, ON-based content management company DLI.tools has been selected into the Canadian Digital Media Network’s (CDMN) Soft-Landing Program, and the company will get financial support for market expansion as part of its membership.

The CDMN Soft-Landing Program offers qualified tech start-ups and SMEs the opportunity to take residence in a partnered facility with the support required to help them grow their business.

In DLI.tools' case, the program will specifically accelerate market share and business partner expansion plans into Australia for their DOCOVA ECM platform.

“We selected DLI.tools into the CDMN Soft-Landing Program because of DOCOVA’s potential of replicating their success in Canada, the United States and Western Europe into other international markets,” Kevin Tuer, Managing Director of the Canadian Digital Media Network, explained of the decision. “Not every submitted candidate gets accepted into the program. Based on the strength of their application, DOCOVA is amongst a chosen few within the program for the first half of 2013.”

“We thank the Canadian Digital Media Network for recognizing our potential with DOCOVA in international markets. With a strong presence in Canada, the United States and Western Europe, Australia is the next geographical market that can benefit from DOCOVA,” Gary Walsh, Managing Director, DLI.tools, said in a statement. “With the support of CDMN, we believe our market and partner expansion will be accelerated.”

DOCOVA ECM enables project teams, departments and organizations to move beyond "simple file sharing" by providing access to business documents, content and records from anywhere, on any device: PC, tablet (iPad, Android, etc), or smartphone (Android, iPhone, BlackBerry, etc). The solution can be deployed in private and hybrid cloud environments or be consumed on the public cloud version. .

The Canadian Digital Media Network (CDMN) is a federal Centre of Excellence in Commercialization and Research, dedicated to establishing Canada as a world leader in digital media (ICT + mobile) by creating and enabling connections and collaboration between entrepreneurs, companies, research institutes, government and intermediary organizations across the country.
