Canadian mobile marketing platform retailcommon has partnered with software developer ThoughtWorks to extend its content management system across mobile operating systems and devices.
As well, the companies are providing retailers and marketers a platform to reach consumers in various countries, or languages.
Retailers and consumer product or service companies can create mobile coupons for promotion and delivery to existing and new customers through digital and legacy media, the partners describe, while continuously tracking response and redemption data.
Clients can control pricing, margin, content and distribution, while maintaining ownership over the customer and tracking data. The product does not require consumers to download an app in order to access the coupon and it works across all operating platforms.
"Our software is now in operation in three languages and as we rollout to other international markets with the world's leading shopping centres and retailers, we need to be able to guarantee seamless and flawless execution in virtually any country on the planet,” said retailcommon CEO James Cunningham.
Retailcommon’s online software platform lets businesses instantly create and distribute redeemable mobile promotions to pull traffic, increase sales and build customer engagement.
The company is based in Toronto, with European headquarters in London, England. It is a privately held company with an international board of advisers from commercial real estate, retailing and communications.
Custom software developers ThoughtWorks has offices in Australia, Brazil, Canada, China, Germany, India, Singapore, South Africa, Uganda, the United Kingdom and the United States.
