Multi-Platform Development Deal for YTV, Studio B

Studio B Productions, a Vancouver-based creator of children's animation programming, has signed a development deal with YTV, a division of Corus Entertainment Inc., for LOOK WHAT MY SISTER DRAGGED IN, an animated series for the international kids market.

Targeting kids 6-11, the 52 x 11 minute series was created by Rob Boutillier. Its pilot premiered at MIPCOM JUNIOR in October 2006 where it was among the 15 most requested screenings, program creators report.

"We are excited to be partnering with YTV on this new series," stated Jillianne Reinseth, Head of Development for Studio B Productions. "We anticipate this will become a favourite with kids around the world across all platforms."

The series chronicles the adventures of Coop, an all-around nice kid, whose life is turned upside down when his sister Millie brings home a tiny hairless Kat, a creature of mysterious origin that is determined to destroy him!

Bonita Siegel, Director Original Productions, Children's Television, stated, "YTV is looking forward to working with Studio B Productions on this new project. LOOK WHAT MY SISTER DRAGGED IN is an Original Series that will appeal to the YTV audience and be embraced by all kids."

YTV and Treehouse are owned by Corus Entertainment, a Canadian-based media and entertainment company. The company's multimedia entertainment brands include YTV, Treehouse, W Network, Movie Central, Nelvana, Kids Can Press and radio stations including CKNW, CKOI and Q107.
