Two independent TV stations based in western Canada will be available across the country starting today, with word that over-the-air stations Joytv10 (Surrey, Fraser Valley and Vancouver) and Joytv11 (Winnipeg) will receive national distribution on Bell Satellite TV.

With weekend programming that explores the world’s faiths and religious traditions, to syndicated U.S. sitcoms and top Canadian drama series throughout the week, Joytv10 (CHNU) will be available on Bell Satellite TV channel 656, and Joytv11 (CIIT) will be available on Bell Satellite TV channel 591.

The new distribution means approximately two million additional homes across Canada can receive  the channels.

Founded in 2008 by Canadian TV pioneer Moses Znaimer, ZoomerMedia brands extend to multiple media platforms, including print, TV, radio, digital, and consumer shows as well as through affinity programs with CARP, Canada’s largest association for the 45plus, with more than 300,000 members.
