A 24 hour comedy TV channel is now available for smartphones and tablets, and no cable subscription is required.
Mobovivo, the Calgary, AB-based second screen software company and DRG, an independent content distributor, have launched the Joking Around Comedy Channel mobile application for iOS devices.
The app provides access to Joking Around broadcast programming 24 hours a day, with bookmarking and favourites tools. The free app includes instant access to 1000 ‘prank’ videos from the Joking Around TV series.
“Joking Around is a great brand and the show engages with audiences around the world and across different age groups – everyone likes to laugh,” Charlotte Hargreaves SVP Marketing and Business Development at DRG said in a release. “DRG is thrilled to be working with such an innovative and forward-thinking company as Mobovivo to bring Joking Around to new audiences who can enjoy the show anytime or anywhere they want”.
