U.S.-based webcast and virtual event service provider ON24 has partnered with Toronto’s Streaming Network, and the two will provide online event services in Canada.
Streaming Network is going to retire its own proprietary webcasting tools, and it will now use ON24’s webcasting and virtual/online events platform.
The Streaming Network will continue to provide online event support, turnkey video production and creative services in the Canadian market, while also offering ON24’s webcasting, virtual briefings and analytic solutions.
“We now have a distributor in Canada focused solely on the Canadian market. The Streaming Network offers a unique solution — the combination of ON24’s industry-leading platform and local support and service,” commented Ben Sullivan, Vice President of Strategic Alliances for ON24. “We applaud the Streaming Network’s commitment to providing Canadian enterprises with state-of-the-art online events, leveraging the performance, reliability and ease of use that only ON24 can deliver.” The Canadian market is one of the fastest growing virtual communications markets in the world, with an annual growth rate approaching 40%.
The Streaming Network reports it has produced more than 10,000 webinars, webcasts and virtual shows for the Canadian market in five years of operation – serving clients such as Eli Lilly, Imperial Tobacco, the Royal Bank of Canada and Wal-Mart.
“In essence, our partnership with ON24 creates a new standard for the Canadian market,” said Matthew Ley, President of the Streaming Network. “It brings what is widely regarded as the world’s most advanced webcasting and virtual event platform from ON24 and puts it into the hands of Canada’s most progressive production team.”
ON24 is headquartered in San Francisco, with offices throughout the world.
