Groupe Média TFO is celebrating its nomination for a 2012 Digi Award in the Best in Canadian Culture category for its online content portal.
The Ontario Francophone broadcaster releaunched its website, tfo.org, earlier this year, making it one of the primary portals to access all of the educational and cultural content that Groupe Média TFO offers to Francophone and Francophile audiences alike.
The new site features a clean look and user-friendly features that make it easy to navigate. It offers over 4 000 videos for children, youth, and general audiences; a wide variety of games and contests; and a number of online content exclusives.
"Groupe Média TFO has carved out an enviable position in the interactive media market,” described Marie Masse, Managing Director of Web/TV Content at Groupe Média TFO. “It is truly an honour to have been nominated for this award in such a competitive market. I want to salute the excellent work done by everyone who has contributed to the development of this site, whether directly or indirectly."
The Digi Awards celebrate the excellent work being done by Canadian digital media companies, which are putting Canada at the forefront of the international mediascape. The Digi Awards will be presented at The Carlu in Toronto on December 4.
Groupe Média TFO produces and distributes French-language educational and cultural media content along with supporting content to meet the needs and aspirations of its target clientele. Groupe Média TFO thus contributes to the civic and cultural development of Ontario's Francophone community and makes its content available on a large number of media platforms.
