OMNI Television is helping to celebrate the best in Indian film by airing the three-hour broadcast of the Zee Cine Awards 2012.
Hosted by Bollywood stars Shah Rukh Khan (My Name is Khan) and Priyanka Chopra (Rah.One), the awards ceremony is known as the biggest viewer’s choice awards for South Asian cinema and the Indian film industry.
The special program airs on Sunday, February 19 at 7pm ET on OMNI. 2, OMNI Alberta and OMNI BC.

This year’s ceremony honours international cinema with 38 awards including best actor male and female, best film, best director, best international icon male and female and best song. Apart from India, the Zee Cine Awards have left an indelible footprint in Dubai, London, Mauritius, Malaysia and Singapore throughout the last 13 years.
Show producers say that the star-studded broadcast features an array of performers including: Shahid Kapur (Jab We Met), Katrina Kaif (Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara), Vidya Balan (The Dirty Picture), and Shammi Kapoor (Rock Star).
ZEEL, one of India's leading television, media and entertainment conglomerates, hosted the Zee Cine Awards 2012 at the Venetian Macao in January. The Awards were first telecast on Zee TV on 5 February 2012.
